There's been drought year on year in most parts of Northern Karnataka and floods and excess rain in parts of Southern Karnataka. It's a pity that most of N. K is not irrigated well. Most rivers in the state originate in the western ghats near South Karnataka and join either Krishna or Kaveri. It's sad to see such avoidable droughts every year. If this is the case in my state just imagine the arid regions in MH, GJ, etc! So much of opportunities lost by simply letting out water to the sea without utilizing it! So much injustice!
